Transportation between the Portola Plaza Hotel and MBARI
The meeting hotel (Portola Plaza Hotel in Monterey) is in historic downtown Monterey, CA and about 22 miles from the meeting location (MBARI in Moss Landing, CA). Participants are encouraged to carpool to MBARI (roughly 22 miles north along Hwy 1); we will also arrange for a shuttle van between the hotel and MBARI everyday. When using the on-line Workshop Registration form please indicate if you plan to rely on the shuttle van so that we may have a better idea of how many to accommodate.
